Founded in 2020 in Haro Wolabu, within Ethiopia’s high‑altitude Guji Zone (1 900–2 000 m a.s.l.), the Gogugu washing station processes cherries from nearby smallholdings.
Bathed in fertile red soil, abundant sunshine and cool mountain breezes, these five‑ to ten‑year‑old Wolisho and Dega trees yield an exceptional washed‑process coffee. After a 60–72 hour wet fermentation, the beans are sun‑dried for ten days.
This lot represents some of Ethiopia’s youngest yet most vibrant high‑elevation coffees.
